The Firefly

The Firefly was a 3D CGI project that I storyboarded for during University. I worked with the director, Catriona O'Donnell, to put this animatic together. Unfortunately it was never finished due to the Pandemic interrupting our final year.

Above are the final boards for the film, made using Toonboom. This project had an emphasis on lighting so I tried to capture that in my sketches.

I made alot of thumbnails for this project, drafting several different endings. The Director had many ideas that were all conflicting, so part of my role was to streamline and edit the storyline of the film.
